When we first began producing tweed fabrics, we developed approximately 300 color variations and attractive designs. Please note that the fabric catalog on our old website only features these initial samples, which are no longer in continuous production.
If you wish to place a new order based on these tweed samples, please allow a lead time of 12 to 16 weeks for production. A minimum order quantity of 50 meters per color and design is required.
We have gained valuable experience in tweed fabric manufacturing from 2016 to 2024. Our customers will now benefit from the new approaches we have adopted, including advanced features such as companion systems and diverse pattern offerings.
As part of our updated production strategy, we now categorize our products into four or more standard quality levels, including:
- Regular Qualities,
- High Qualities,
- Premium Qualities,
- Superior Qualities (Distinct tier).
Our company will continually strive to refine high-quality products through exceptional fabric manufacturing and by adapting to the specific needs of our customers.
Materials Sourcing:
We prioritize locally sourced raw materials, focusing especially on Dholpo wool harvested from the Upper Dolpo region in northwestern Nepal, and include Himalayan organic Hemp, Nettle, and Khopa silk. This rare Himalayan raw wool and these materials form the foundation of all our tweed products and are valued for their natural warmth, durability, and purity.
Alongside Himalayan hygienic wool, we thoughtfully incorporate imported wool and a range of premium, sustainable fibers. These include Cotton, Tasshar-silk, jungle Silk, Bamboo, and other eco-friendly materials. We carefully select each fiber raw-materials to enhance product quality while reflecting our deep commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and authenticity.

A Lining Fabrics.
Our latest lining fabric are crafted using carefully selected healthful yarns, including:
- 100% Silk- (Color & White),
- 100% Cellulose Bamboo- (Color & White),
- 50% Bamboo 50% Cellulose Modal (mixed woven in white).
These eco-friendly, skin-friendly linings are designed to complement the quality and heritage of Gorkha GNW Tweed, offering enhanced breath-ability, softness, and comfort for everyday wear. This product has successfully achieved 100% of our target standards.
The lining fabrics will be available in two weave options:
- Twill weave, used for regular garments.
- Herringbone IRA Shuttle weave, used for premium garments.
To achieve rich and lasting colors while maintaining fabric integrity, we use wool dyes, Vegetable dyes and cotton dyes, ensuring both vibrancy and safety. Through this carefully controlled process, we are confident in delivering garments that support 100% healthy and responsible clothing standards.
