Deep Bahadur Shahi has origin in a remote village of the mid-hills of Dailekh District, Mid West Nepal. He started his career in yarn production for carpet making in 1990 and ever since has been honing skill in the carpet making craft and textile trade industry in every capacity. His leadership and extensive experience are complemented by years of discipline earned as a runner for the Nepal Army’s Track and Field national team. He takes special pleasure in sharing his far-reaching knowledge of Himalaya carpets and tapestries with others.
